Our Mission
To improve livability of the neighborhood, encourage communication among neighbors, promote awareness of community, cohesiveness and safety, advance a united voice on concerns, and protect the integrity and historic attributes of the neighborhood.
Our Goals
Light Rail: to plan, prepare for, and make the best out of changes coming to our neighborhood from the proposed light rail.
Public Grants: to obtain funds from various grant sources, and to make sure the funds are spent according to the grant conditions.
Newsletter: to compose and assemble a periodic newsletter about our neighborhood for dissemination to all members.
Homless/Transients: to report homeless/transient problems promptly, with follow up to be sure the situation is resolved.
Traffic: to understand our present traffic problems, and research and implement proper solutions to those problems.
Survey: to conduct a written survey of all residents in the neighborhood, and to compile and prioritize the responses for the purpose of developing major goals for this year.
Deliveries: to deliver information to all members, in an effort to keep everyone informed about important events that occur between quarterly meetings.
Preservation: to report problem properties to the city for enforcement of code violations, and to follow up on the cases until the problems are resolved.
